i unno but if ur door has a pocket u could take off the door pannel n remove the plastic pocket n cut a board the exact size n then fiberglass a 6&1/2 in there like i did in my geo, im a noob at fiberglassing but i think i did a halfway decent job my geo had 4'' speakers in dash so i modded it n put 6&1/2's in doors heres some pics its not that hard to do imo

damn, sry bout ur 8's man, what u think is a good freq level for 8's set for midbass? i was thinking around 80-100 or so, n turn my mids down to 100-200 and tweets 200+ im goin active cause my kickers xovers are pritty much shit now from being in my doors for 2yrs but anywho what kinda amp u have runnin ur 8's off of?

i might take some scrap wood n one of my el cheap shit woofers n put it in a box n try it out, i got a few subs layin around that i dont need anyways, but i can make them make there own smoke tho lol

i had a idea a couple yrs back of hooking a fog machine up n run it into a ported sub box n at shows have lights in the ports that would come on n change colors n shit n it would blow smoke out of the box n what knot, but never really got to it, n dunno if it would affect tuneing or not

is the power gunna be used daily or more for burps? i wouldn't try over 750-800 daily, but u might can throw 1200 on it without it breaking on a burp, but i dnt kno to much bout kicker woofers that much, only had mids n highs n a couple of there older subs

i guess this is why my pioneer ftw, i can go headunit amp speakers = active, my deck has a built in xover to run active but im still wondering if i can rewire my coax's so i can run them active also, like desolder the tweeter leads and wire them in with tweets on my comp set n then wire the mids together also, like take a 4ch amp, run tweets on front, n mids on rear, my decks rcas go from front n rear passave fullrange, to front tweet, rear mid active with seperate eq's and then sub, but how would i set it up to run my 8's as midbass? and whats the percs in runnin active vs passave other than sq? can u push the mids n tweets more at a givin freq or basicly the same as passave but with better sq? i wanna kno so when i build my new box i can redo some things, might put my coax's in doors n put my comps in kicks n 8's on each side of box but i also wanna kno befor a spend a couple hundred on a good 4ch n it not sound no diff lol i want mids n highs to sound smooth at a givn freq range but the subs to pickup right below em so its an even transition edit: my deck can do digital time or some kinda alinement to make one speaker sound far off n another close up but i cant do this cause im runnin 2ch stereo off front channel for mids n highs, n rears are midbass, but when i go full active i want it to sound bitchin lol it sounds killer now but i kno with a good ported box it will hit lows better n stronger than this downfire

more powa, it needs more powa lol as little of power those rcas put out its moveing that 10 pritty good does urs have 2 full range outputs or 2 high, n 2 mid outputs? i got 2 of those radios n cant get em to do that, but then theres my philips that does around 150rms @6ohm stereo, so arond 180-200@4ohm, ive ran mine at 2ohm for a while when i was a noob n it took it like a champ, it can push 4 10's good, or 2 12's or 2 15's i got 2 klh 6&1/2 2ways, 2 klh 8'' 3ways, and 2 philips 6&1/2'' 3ways i think ran from mine with 1 klh 10 sub with its on 250w plate amp man i love home stereo amps runnin car speakers, i unno why but some of my house radios pushed my car speakers better than a car amp

that has to be louder in person than what cam shows cause i useto have an audiobahn flame q 10'' d4, and for what it did on what i was giveing it in a sealed box it was wangin like hell, i only gave $40 for mine tho what are u tuned to and wired to? my 10 i had was raited at 1800max so those 15's should take an easy 1500 to 2000rms but thats sealed, i seen a flame q 12 in circuit city a few yrs ago on kicker 300.1 n it started bottoming out n it was in a qlogic ported box, n i had a set of audiobahn natural sound 12's a while back that didn't like ported at all, i built a sealed box for each of em at arond 1.5cf each or so n they wanged on everything, but i throw em in a 3cf ported n it sounded like shit lol im not bashing ur system in any way but vids dont do audiobahns any justice, this has some good potential but its hard to get to it due to the fact that those flame q's have such stiff spiders it wont let em get low enough in ported boxs without a shit ton of power keep up the good work man, i love me a blow through
