talk about stereo imageing, i wonder if its possable to do audio like this? i dnt think it will work on the other hand due to to many forms of sound like guitar, bass, drums, piano n what knot goin into the mixing board to make stereo output, so to do this with music i unno how well it will work out but ive listened to some sq cars on youtube n they could do a damn good job with it tho

ive ran subs like that befor with no prob, but a stereo(2ch) amp plays 2 diff sides n the sub trys to counter act each side, ied bridge it @ 8ohm, pos of one coil to amp, neg of other coil to other pos n then neg to amp neg n 8ohm, with box rise that 2ohm will be around 3.2 give or take, when i had my amp wired 1ohm it was settin at 1.8ohm with box rise

there not cheap, kinda the reason why guys on here soilder there terminals, i got 5 tsunami pure copper with 24k gold plateing for $20 at a local shop, n aint much cheaper anywere else, but there tough as nails tho and another thing, u get what u pay for but if u want the cheap way out, get some 1/2'' copper pipe, cut it off, mash one end, and cut it in a round, n then bore a hole in it, might be cheaper, ive seen ppl do this alot with welding n what knot so i dnt see how it wont work here, bout the same thing

i had a set of the older vmaxx 12's with orange surround n they was no joke, about as loud or louder than my 2 mtx 5500 15's, i wished i didn't sell em, i got em for $50 for both

ya, big 3, good starter battery, 2-3 secondary batterys, depends if there big enough, good 1/0 cable, its possable but try to keep ur electrical up to somewhat of a par to help voltage drop or magic smoke will show

that orange wire is ilumination wire, it lights up the headunit when parking lights are turned on, that doesnt affect anything but this might help otheres, did you do this or a shop? what kind of headunit is it? did they use a plug in harness or tap into factory wires? i have yet to do a stereo in any car were i had to take the acc wire off the battery pos, my geo's harness didn't have a good pos wire so i ran one out of 12guage stranded wire to the battery fused, but normally if i have to steal acc power somewere i useally do it at collem or a fuse ied take it back n make em fix it if a shop done it this is were smd comes into play, if u did this urself, u will find out how to do it the right way and more, but if its a plug in harness and got no power its the radio fuse why it doesnt work, might halfto do with ur lights also but there is a dome fuse either in driver side kick panel, or under hood, some fuse panals in cars are on passangers side center console

oh ya, check both fuse boxs also, some things are fused under hood, n some inside car

i think those crunch amps do around 1200rms i think, so with that ied get 2 12's rather than 1 15

what is ur budget and how much power are u gunna run? and what are u trying to get out of it? imo ied invest in a good headunit, n then mids n highs, n then mids n highs amp, n then subs, n sub amp, makes a diff or thats how i done with mine n save save save, money helps alot on gettin good stuff

those to get loud, i think a guy ran 6 of those ina suberban on nitro amps, but imo i would run audiobahn, i had 2 natural sound 12's n they was loud in 1.5cf sealed boxs each, got loud n deep, sounded good, so maby 2 audiobahn 15's or ma audio for cheap good stuff,but ma audio's lower line doesnt handle to much power tho u can get good cheap stuff n still be loud for a first setup
