What type of bedliner do you use on your subs box?
alaskanzx5 replied to IndianaBassHead's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
since its a wall i would only assume its in the truck already lol. with that i would use a roll on. just becuase it would be easier to keep it clean then having to tape off and bag everything that you dont want to get overspray on. -
think there is a rockford t1500.1bdcp in the forsale section. i know mine is rated for 1950x1 @ 1ohm.

from my understanding the audiocontrol varies based on the freq to so no its not as accurate but still a good meter. -

^ im completely agree with you fecupe. sure it could have been adjusted or bumped. the video was of there findings and it doesnt say that all ac-190 will be the same. a simple reply saying hey, the ac-190 wont always be that accurate compared to the termlab because you can adjust the setting on the ac-190 to match the termlab so not every ac-190 will be the same. would have been a good enough reply to let the op know that yes it can be compared to the termlab if set right but not always. i just dont see the reason to call bullshit. those where his findings and results doesnt mean that they will all be the same. -

besides no one was telling him to buy an audiocontrol it was a suggestion for him to find a shop with a meter and get tested. not all shops have the same meter and so it was like said a suggestion and a comparison between the termlab and ac-190. the end result is still that if the audiocontrol is set right then it will be close to the termlab. although from what ive been told the ac-190 does have some small changes with different freq. -

^^ i understand what your saying but what would any of those people gain from calibrating and adjusting the adiocontrol to match the termlab? fecupe2001 doesnt sell either the termlab or the audiocontrol so i dont see how he would gain anything. besides that if the audiocontrol is set right it will give an accurate rating and if it set right it will be close to the termlab. -

well thats good to know. saves me a trip and some cash. no i can just fix my tensioner pulley and get remeter on the ac-190 and then subtract .1 from it and have a real close score compared to a termlab. -

possible build with given dimensions please!
alaskanzx5 replied to velvetsmack's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
well if your going for spl your gonna want to have a ported box. i have a 2003 ford focus with a similar sized hatch bnad i can say 2 15s wont fit in mine unless i either take out the back seat or make the box a decent amount taller then the back seat. if your will to lose your back window and rear seat you can fit anything if your only willing to lose your back window the most you could do is 2 15's maybe 2 18s but my guess is 2 18s wont fit. give the max dimensions your willing to go with and then im sure everyone could be of more help. -

as soon as i can get a chance to get on a termlab i cant post a comparison score between the ac-190, ac-170 and termlab. ive been metered on both the ac-190 and ac-170 already. gotta get retested on the ac-190 though think i was having some weird voltage issues that day ( tensioner pulley going bad ) -

from what i was told is that kaspersky was created by one of the makers of norton and that he ( kaspersky) decided to make his own program because he didnt like how norton could/would slow computers performance down. the program is suppose to be just as good or better then norton and not slow it down. i have it, waiting for another month for my free norton to end then im putting the kasperky on the computer.

Mechman 270A low idle voltage/slippage
alaskanzx5 replied to adreano17's topic in MechMan Alternators and 12v Accessories
i dont see why you would have the stock pulley on there. companies that make h/0 alts would put a slightly smaller pulley on there for no reason. -
downloading from youtube?
alaskanzx5 replied to bigmescan's topic in Tunez - All things music related
well im just saying that if your willing to download music with questionable quality dont complain about it. free stuff comes at a price. the music might be free but is it worth the quality? i wouldnt say so. i work for and pay for everything i have and ive been doing so since i was 16. i struggle from day to day to make it but i wont except handouts. not even free music if the quality is questionable. if its putting a freinds cd on my computer sure no proplem but downloading it from questionable sites or questionalbe quality i'll pass.
