Ive heard like 4 or 5 boat setups 2 of them being mine. I had a nautique 226, and the sub was in a sealed enclosure on the driver side right behind the driver seat, kinda low. I also had a nautique 210 where the sub was in a sealed box under the passenger seat (it was kind of like lounge chair that lifted up for storage). Both of those setups were enough to keep up with 8-10 polk 6.5s and 4 tower speakers, and would send ripples through the water off the boat. IMO sealed is the way to go on a boat.

i have quite a few exterior parts plastidipped as well as all of the wood trim inside, so it wouldnt really look that off. As far as the dye goes, any idea where to get some? cause im pretty sure the visors are vinyl. Thanks!

i would also recommend running a decent 16 gauge wire to help get all your power to your speakers, in place of the stock wiring

with what you have, the next thing i would do is replace the stock amp.. as listed above, rockford fosgate amps are a very good choice, also jl audio makes a nice 4 channel that would match you sub amp.

i have this unit, and am very happy with it for the price, i would recommend getting the pioneer ipod cable though if you plan on using an iphone, as it allows you to run navigation through your phone.

First off, i have a 2010 tahoe with black interior, but the headliner, and pillars are tan. I ordered black suede and will be covering the headliner and pillars in that, but the air vents, and the grab handles, and a couple misc parts are tan. I have some stuff that is meant to be used for this type of thing, (i cant find it hehehe) so my question to you guys is what do you use to paint interior parts? if all else fails, i may plasti-dip as much of it as i can.

i used to have this head unit and loved it, but like you i could not get the relay to work, so i wired it up to a toggle switch, and that worked.

sorry to post this in your forsale thread, but im curious, are there any differences between these and the polys besides the cones that you know of? freq. response? power handeling, ect.? all knowledge is appreciated!
