I-beam suspensions are hard to lower. You need drop spindles or new i-beam to do it right or you will be replacing tires offen...

even if he plans on bass racing(which i don't think nslp does). He needs to know his freq. Cause if his peak freq is something like 47 hz and he try a songs that peaks at 40hz. he is going to be disappointed. A bad song will make a 159.9 bass racing seem like a 129.9 car...

They will probably have you run a sweep of frequencies from somewhere around 90Hz to 20Hz. That will narrow it down and get you close to your peak freq. Since this is your first time you should start about 2 to 3 hz lower and then track up after about 3 to 4 seconds.

If you are going for all out SPL, you don't play music. You play tones...

Are you planing on doing tones or bass racing? If you want to do tones you need to know your freq. Tell the people that you don't know your freq. They can help you out with that.

Kids are great, my son helps me put the stereo in the car. He carries the ports out to the car, etc. He is very helpful until he gets to the point where he wants to put his toys in the ports.

I always thought that if your box is atleast the same distance from the back doors or whatever, that that would be fine. But your saying that is increasing the port... so if I have 4 four inch ports just say about 4 to 5 inches away from the back, so would thatincrease port length even though i don't have a slot port like the other guy
