    I bought my first one about 5 years ago and it was a jvc arsenal. I forget the exact model and such but it was an alright deck, gave it to a girl i am talking to about 2 years ago and it still works to this day. Every time I drive her car its like a blast from the past for me. I'm now a Pioneer only kinda guy, altho I may try a new alpine at some point.

    Same here man, I live by an appt complex and I used to hear this shit all the time and it pisses me off. Haven't heard anything for a while now tho..they didn't wanna play after I parked my car as far across the fence line as I could get and dropped some alan jackson - the blues man

    Ya, its got a tach to make sure the car stays under 2000 rpm in the lanes, it came with a shift light so its in there for fun =] Very cool! I thought thats why it had a tach, if I had one i'd throw a shift light on there too lol...hmm.

    oh you need a router table to do little stuff like this. to make the ring i used an adjustable hole cutter on the drill press. then you take the ring to the table router and round it off. Oh gotcha, been a while since junior high shop class lol.

    Great outcome! Maybe a dumb question but where do you sit your stuff while you're routing? Like big stuff I sit on saw horses but little stuff like this is too tedious to do something like that.
