Idk about waste of money but i do know someone who did it to resell it, all the thing contained was a resistor and some sort of chip with basic ass coding in it. Oh and some like 90 gauge wires lol. Tell him you'll mod a controller for $40 + parts

SSD's are even a lower choice of sub, if your dead set on FI and dont want to go btls id try fully loaded bl's

I'd recommend something different sub wise if you're wanting something to take abuse. Thats a 1000 rms sub, an those rockfords put out more than the 1500 rated.

Dude...I just stayed up all night thursday and wrote 5 philosphical papers, and 5 journals, then went back and did outlines and bonus for the class (an entire semesters worth of philosophy). If I had the power to stay home from a party and stay off of here you do too School will get better with time man, sounds like your in the same boat taking these boring ass basic classes still before you get to some classes with some actual interesting topics.

Eff it man, you're over reacting. I'm the same way, but I somehow make it through. I'm a business major as well, information systems management and corporate finance to be exact. Don't put so much pressure on yourself, its hard to get motivated, yes, but hell man I have 3 finals due by thursday and tests all this week and I'm still hanging in there and so should you. I've only seen like 3 pioneers that don't produce ground noise, there's a pico fuse in the head unit that gets blown from swapping rca's 'hot'. Quick fix that I do that works everytime, strip a 6-8" piece of speaker wire put it on one of the screws on the back of the head unit then wrap it around rca's making sure it touches the outside of each one the take the excess and bolt it down on the back of the head unit.

I agree with Hugh 100%. For example I seen something on the news where Cleveland just fired alot of officals and hired new ones and tried to pull it off as saving money, when actually investigated by the news when they asked to see a list containing all city officials and their salaries it took them a while to come up with it. When they finally got the list and looked it over it looked great to the untrained eye, showed thousands being saved, but when the news broke it down they seen where alot of the employees that were fired were being either a) replaced by a higher paid employee or replaced by two employees which both total salaries were way over the original employee. There was also some other shit about them claiming saving money but I forget what that was. It's all a crock of shit and pisses me off to no end.

Have you tried different sub positioning? If you can get that "violent zone" up on that dash it'll be good on the meter

Hate to post, but I've searched for the past few days for the thread about cheap terminals and couldn't find the one I was looking for. I remember there being a website that had 1/0 ring terminals cheap, but you had to order like 20 of them or something. Anyone know where I'm speaking of?

Both are copper clad right? I think ones just better looking and more flexible, both are good wires imo.
