  1. Having moved here from Phoenix 2 years ago I hate to break it to you but AZ has WI topped by a long shot
  2. I'm not a professional but I've done many interiors. I've always used Weldwood DAP glue in a spray gun. Spray both surfaces (not the entire thing, just a small area to start working with) and let it get a little tacky. Start in the middle of the panel and work your way out spraying more glue as you go. Doing it this way will allow you to stretch and move the material around more to work it around the curves and in the crevasses.
  3. With bags you'll have to weld too. Without any experience welding I WOULD NOT learn on something like the suspension of the vehicle you haul your family around in not to mention have on the road with other people. Sure it's not rocket science but if you don't know what you're doing and jump into a project like that you're going to kill someone. As for linking it, I mean like a 4 link setup or similar.
  4. If you're going to go through the work of bagging it just for a softer ride why not just link it, front and rear, and put coils in it?
  5. You got that right. He limp wrists it enough to jam it and looked like he was flinching with the second one when it wasn't firing.
  6. Did you ever figure out what the problem was/is? I started having the same issue today in my Eclipse. All my voltage is good (13.9 resting/ 13.3 at full tilt) and all my wiring is fine so I don't know what the deal is. Only my 4ch is cutting out and it's not going into protect, just shutting off and kicking back on.
  7. Forgot to add that I would like a free box in exchange for the like. I will drive there too.
  8. Back is probably gonna be best but I would build a new box and go ported with the sub firing up and the port to the back.
  9. No on hooking the amps together. What kind of box is it in? The pulsing is either a bad ground somewhere, bad set of rca's, or rca's are running too close to power wires and picking up noise.
  10. If you decide to go with super tweets check out the PPI PT.2's. I just got mine today, plugged them in for a second to make sure they worked ok, and damn they sound good especially for the price. $33/pair shipped.
  11. You should be fine with that amp. I have 4 PR10's rated at 250 rms each and have been giving them about 350 each for a couple years now without any issues.
  12. If it were me I would sell whatever is in the front doors and get a set of components otherwise you still have to figure out how you're going to wire them into you existing stuff.
  13. ok and i checked out your build thread looks good can't wait for more updates. Should have updates this weekend. My super tweets will be here today and my crossover is supposed to be here Saturday and those are what is holding everything up.
  14. It's a little on the small side but should be fine. Per their website the Z 12's call for 1^3 sealed and 2^3 ported. Displacement on them is .12 and then you gotta figure for port and bracing so they'll be around 1.6ish after all that.
  15. They are pretty clean and they will get loud but you're not gonna beat up the block with them.
  16. They aren't bad, I've had a couple before but it depends what you are expecting out of them.
  17. Traded him a pair of 12" TC Sounds TC-1000's in a ported box that was nothing special for the sub, box, and $100. I have no intentions on trading back. I listed it for sale locally so if he wants to buy it back for what I have it listed for that's fine otherwise I think I will probably hold on to it. Only reason I am even considering selling it is because I need a bigger amp for my DD 3512's.
  18. So I got ahold of the guy I got it from who got ahold of his buddy who is the original owner and he says it's a level 4 with level 5 coil. Is there any possible truth to this? Now that the guy I got it from knows what it is he's trying to get it back but I think I may just hold on to it for now.
  19. I've had the Memphis one and while it does the job I feel like I get a cleaner signal with Audio Control's and with the Over-drive's price being about the same as the Memphis there's no question which one to go with for a 2 ch setup. OP, if you're looking for one to run both your amps go with a Matrix.
  20. What do you consider inexpensive? I paid around $150 each shipped for my Audio Control Matrix's and about $85 for my Over-drive.
  21. Ok I can't get the boot to budge and tore 2 of my fingernails pretty good trying. Thanks for the info. Anyone have any idea what of what it might be worth if I decide to part with it? I don't have anything to put it in but I might just hang on to it for a future build.
