I clamped my skar 1500.1. I did not do a burp and use peak hold like some people do. I had the engine running at idle, played the track from the dd-1 test disc that i used to set the gains and went to my unclipped full volume. The tone played for about 30 seconds while I walked around the car back to the meters. I noticed the the amperage slowly rose to 8.76 and held steady there for the whole test. So the tone was 40hz and the voltage at the amp was 14v The amp was wired to 2ohms The output was 45.1V and the amperage was 8.76amps So that makes my load at the amp 5.14ohms and the wattage 395 watts. By that math I believe the amp should do 500 @ 40hms like it is rated. Even though I was at 14v not 14.4. When i wire down, and get the electical upgraded I will clamp again and see what it does. I know that clamping isn't the most accurate method, but It is close enough for most of us.

Going to clamp the skar 1500 @ 2ohm after work and see what it does. I think i can hold 13v so should be a fair enough test.

ok, 45.1V 8.76amps @ 14v even. Unlcipped clean signal. So I rise to 5.14ohms @ 40 hz and am doing 395 watts. The amp is rated @ 500 at 4ohms. So, it seems it might actually do rated.

geurdo valley is the best imo. I bought that album when it cam out last year or whenever. But yeah, Gerudo valley will tear some ish up.

I think i would buy tinned lugs too. I need to put in an order for about 16 or so pretty soon. Will you be getting the regular 1/0 lugs that fit normal 1/0 too? -

Found that i can do a legit hair trick if i clip just a bit. Doesnt seem to matter passenger or drivers side though. Not bad for whatever a skar 1500 does at 2ohms

So i screwed up my back putting in the subs, that or wiggling into the box through a speaker hole. Went to the chiropractor today, he twitsted me like a pretzel and i melted in his arms. I feel so much better now. I think i want to have his babies.

I am really tempted to send in my 9105D to see what it does, my clamp tests chowed 671 @ 3ohms at 12.6v, its rated at 900 @ 2ohm @ 14.4.
