  1. I love my quirky, crashy, up and down SMD forums. No really, even with all the wackyness its one of my favorite websites.

      Whats wrong with gay porn?

  2. ok, i watched a movie on amazon last night. Had the sound off cause the wife was sleeping. Wrote a review about it and evidently one of the directors replied to my review. lmao.

  3. This bug seems to be back again, i know you guys are doing upgrades and stuff just thought i would point it out. I'm talking about clicking post and nothing happens, or clicking post nothing happens so i refresh and no post then it works, or i click post nothing happens, i click again and then i get a double post. lol
  4. Well, i guess i know what i am going to buy next, lol. man, i need to redo my console so i can put three of these in with my vm-1.
  5. Can I ask a question? I see mods deleting posts I never got to see so I am hesitant to ask anything in fear of retaliation.
  6. I think i may buy this, calvin and hobbes complete collection on paperback http://astore.amazon.com/ucomicscom/detail/1449433251

  7. Also, i am not arguing that their specs are right, i am saying people's idea of what speaker displacement is, is wrong. There is more to it than just metal and magnets. Feel me?
  8. i have never owned a sundown sub in my life
  9. You cant tell me there is .01 cuft of difference in these two subs. lol Stands to reason there is more to speaker displacement than physical dimensions, or something else is going on.
  10. Are you confusing displacement with Vas? Maybe someone else is, why else would the displacement of the z be almost the same as the sa considering the size difference?
  11. I am pretyt sure displacement is not just the physical sub. it is affected by xmax and maybe a couple other things too.
  12. bank has reward point. I forget about them, checked today and cashed them in for $100. Profit.

That's a nice win. Literally. Forget about some money and find it? Win.

  13. No problem, some of us here would like to ask some questions about the video just to clear up some facts. So please let us know what you are powering the amp and dyno with. I know everyone has that question on their mind.
  14. Not sure why this hasnt been posted here yet, so i will do it. Dyno runs at 1ohm on all three modes and a dynamic run at .5
  15. Did i post something wrong on my last status update? or did the sire wig out and delete it?

maybe it was something about ad-block not working anymore...

  16. No reason to make personal attacks. I think the op made his decision on his second post. I think this argument is moot at this point.
  17. OP, all the arguments aside, if you can get a BNIB sa-12 for $150 grab it. i'm sure you will be very happy with the 750 watts and since i doubt you have any electrical upgrades then running that mbquart at 2ohm would be better for the amp too since you wont have as much voltage drop. Plus, you can grab a second sa-12 later that is d4 and then wire down to 1ohm once you have your electrical in order and you will be all set.
  18. Was listening to Gotta Eat (deacfed) on the way home, I like it.

  19. going to have to just upgrade the pc soon. Video card runs at like 76c at least all the time. I need a better case, cpu fan get clogged fast so it runs 70c. 1st world problems.

just curious, but what should the normal temp be around?

  20. lol, my bad. yeah, the 80prs, tricky headunit, tons of settings. So many variables., simple solution is this. that headunit should do 62/62 volume no clipping. sub level at 0 eq: set volume and sub level to max. double check with the dd-1, you should be clean still with the 0db tone. Track 1 now set the amp and use the -10db tone with eq and headunit at max clean output. once the amp is set, play the -5db tone and use the eq sub out control and turn it down till you see clean signal, make a note of the position, do the same for track 1 0db. now you have an idea where to set the eq sub out for various music. i would stay close to -5db level for dubstep and decaf, -10db level should be alright for most "music" and some rap. I would not recommend using the -15db track for subs, music tends to be around -10 to -5db.
  21. don't use the -15db tone what eq are you using. what headunit are you using? I can help you get this right but that info will help
