    Yes they can be. I was going to suggest tuning around 32 hz for daily if you listen to rap. Especially if you listen to slowed music. but 4.2 would be fine.

    put a plastic bag in the area that needs sealed. spray great stuff inside bag until its tightly filled. problem solved. perfect seal with no mess.

    i might upgrade because it is going in my 2003 tahoe and i dont think it could ever be loud enough haha. Lol I feel ya man. I drive an 03 tahoe too. I thought my 2 18's that I just put in would be loud enough. Now, I'm preordering 6 18's tonight!

    If you're not planning on upgrading or adding another amp, CCA wire would be fine for your application. That will save you quite a bit of money.

    I would, but height is also an issue. The way the headliner comes down on the sides, there won't be much clearance. I will double up on the front and back pieces. and how do I figure in bracing displacement inside the port?

    going to mount an amp rack on the front of the box behind the front seats. And it will be tough to brace from front to back since it will be about 65" deep.
