  1. I agree 100% man. I had no idea what I was getting into when I came here! Everyone seems to be more than happy to help with everything. I also enjoy that you can post about literally anything here, sure the majority is car audio but you can find info on most anything else as well!
  2. Bout to put in an order with ascendant audio!! :good:

  6. Price drop: $20 plus shipping for the whole set! Lets get these gone!
  7. The age cap is 18 for boy scouts. Although you can only be a boyscout for a certain amount of time, you are an Eagle Scout for life. Statistics go something like less than 2% of all scouts actually reach the rank of eagle scout. I remember a story they would always tell us back at camp where they would tell about the averages per 100 kids who started boy scouts. It was only like 1-2 that would actually finish, I will see if I can find it online. Edit here it is: Of 100 Boys in Scouting - * Only rarely will one appear in juvenile court. * 12 will receive their first church contact through Scouting. * 5 will receive church religious emblems. * 1 will enter the clergy due to his Scouting relationships. * 18 will develop hobbies that will give them a lifelong interest. * 8 will find their future life vocations. * 1 will use Scout skills to save another's life. * 1 will credit Scout skills with saving his own life. * 2 of the 100 will reach the Eagle Rank. * 17 will later become leaders in Scouting and will pass on their skills, inspiration and leadership to countless youth.
  8. Yeah man I'm in order of the eagle. I'm actually brotherhood which is the second rank, wasn't hard at all to get like getting into order of the arrow was.
  9. Haha yeah I just turned 17 at the beginning of June so i wasn't nearly as close as you! Thanks! I'm not going into the military, I have great respect for the people that do, but its just not my thing. I'm going to go to Purdue for Mech engineering Thanks man! I stated to lose interest near the end but once I found my project it was a PERFECT fit for me! I built a dock at a local nature reserve, but the part I am most proud of is the I DESIGNED IT ENTIRELY. No plans to start from, no professionals; it was 100% my own design. I consulted with a local engineering firm once the design was done and they said it would be plenty strong and looked like a great design. It was built almost exactly one year ago and this thing still will not budge an inch if you try to rock it. All of the structural boards are pressure treated lumber, while all of the decking/railing is a product called trex. Without going into too much detail its just engineered lumber. haha enough talk. Here are my final renders, remember this is my own design Picture taken right after we finished; it was a long, hot day. That is me.
  10. Hey guys I just had my eagle ceremony this last Saturday. I finished everything up in February and technically "got" eagle then but this was just the presentation of the award. Everything went great and it was a nice little ceremony. I was just wondering if we had any other eagle scouts on the forum?
  11. buy me so I can fund the rest of my build! All offers welcome!!
  12. Makes me sad to think that that golf cart will have a better stereo than my car. :/ Haha good work should get interesting!
  13. nope no pics of it yet. I wanted to make sure i was all the way in the clear before i posted up what i did. I think there is a hint of it in one of the pics i posted. Basically, i cut it on two sides and then folded it up 90 deg. Completely out of the way and enough steel still on it to EASILY engage it with my toe. I got lucky and a little ballsy considering i just cut the Ebrake on a 65k car like it was and old Civic DX. LOL Fuck it you only live once! Steve saying YOLO made my day!!! hahah I don't know how you find the time to work a full time job and do all this. Must be 25 hours in your day!
  14. woah lol definitely not worth it, wasn't even that great of a burnout!
  15. Thanks! I will keep this as a plan B incase the next option doesn't work. Searched around the forum more and seem to have found what you are talking about: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/85229-how-to-get-every-last-strand-of-wire-in-that-terminal/page__p__1167696__hl__+skittlesrgood%20+wire%20+strands%20+terminal__fromsearch__1#entry1167696 Looks like it should work and I will try it. Thanks!!
  16. Didn't really know what section to put this in so I figured I would throw it in here. So I am working on my first build and just got my amp, an Audison LRx 4.300. It has 4 gauge inputs and I was wondering if you guys had any tricks on how to get as many strands as possible into the input terminal? Thanks for any replies in advance!
