how high is the gain on the amp? unplug the rca's and see if the amp still makes the noise

it was on a termlab...and 'legal' in meca....but meca isnt dbdrag...so 'legal' in drag is sealed, 'legal' in meca means u can open doors...but its all on the termlab nonetheless...

well, ben actually did that score with two 15 type r's...but he did get one 15 type r over a 150 as well...at the headrest, driver door open i believe (MECA style) try audioque...great sub for the price...i know of a guy that is loud using them!

i had some 10"se's...similar to these subs...more of a sq sub... daily was tuned to 32hz....swapped ports to one at 45hz for burps and my score went down a couple of db's i would suggest tunning kinda low...based on the specs of the subs

people gotta realize a brother needs to kick back and have a cold one every now and then. your customer service is top notch...one of the very very few companies that even lets u know they are behind...good shit! i know of at least 5 forums u constantly update: SMD, ***, MECA, diymobileaudio, ca.com...im sure there is more...plus pm's u still probably get, plus emails out the ass....and then there is that little thing called life and running a business....ur crazy!

yea...2000 watts and sound quality arent generally synonomous... maybe get two subs....like a couple of 12" Fi Q's (1000rms/sub) i would imagine dc lvl3's, and sundown sa subs are similar to the se...but also have the same power rating

the exact amp, components, and sub i want to go with if i could ever afford it! bet it sounds awesome!

what about settings on the amp/hu? do u have a sub control and bass control on your headunit....what level are they at? what about the gain on the amp...how high is it? make sure its on low pass filter (lpf), at around 70-80hz, subsonic a little below tuning...and make sure the gain isnt cranked up...what about bass boost on the amp?

doesnt matter....they are just there to hold everything together while the glue dries...if i had a brad nailer i would use it...but i dont, so i use screws.. use a good wood glue like titebond, the glue bonds the wood togtether better than nails or screws...
