  5. i would highly recommned a fuse....just because its safer u fuse based on the size of wire....for 1/0 gauge the biggest u can go is 325 amps....150 will probably work...if it were me i would use something bigger....like 250amps+
  6. leave the stock wiring....u are simply adding wire add a positive run from the battery to the alt...fused add a ground run from the battery to the engine block (i attached it to the bolt holding my alt in) add a ground from your battery to the frame
  7. that is the fuse circled and leave that alone along with all of your stock wiring....u are simply adding wiring and fuses..not replacing the factory wiring

  9. yea...was leaning a smidge towards full size i think they are a little sexier....but mainly for the extra space for an enclosure...
  10. bagged and laying frame, with a huge system? so i really wanna get a truck and bag it within the next year....and will eventually do a blowthru far far down the road in either vehicle... choices...DONT WANT TO HEAR ANY SUGGESTIONS AS THESE ARE GONNA BE MY TWO CHOICES!!!!! F150 - extended cab ranger - extended cab probably mid to late 90s model really cant decide on a mini or full size truck... so what interest u all more?

  13. we talking about a wall, or a street set-up... i can tell u rangers/the mazda equivalent get loud!!! but that was a street setup, below the window line... any extended cab will do decent numbers in a street class...
  14. no u cant blow a motor... overpowering can damage any soft parts...coil, spiders, cone, surround, tinsels...just depends on which one goes first
  15. at least we're on the same page decaf!! hope it works....but i always kept my sub level around +6ish out of +15
