  1. On the hunt for a camera before we head down to SBN

  2. Where are you located at? If we can help you find someone local with a DD1 and CC1 that could make your install easier, reliable, and safer on the equipment. You guys were on a minivacation Just some bad coding I'm assuming from the website transition.
  3. I'm surprised there wasn't a run in between Kevin and Steve That coulda turned up with some interesting pics.. But knowing Kevin, touring the floor, he was brainstorming here and there.
  4. Unfortunately tossing sub/amp combos around again. Just can't get my mind set for some reason. Atleast getting more wire on the way next week

  5. Considered a pair of sk2500s if that's the route you wanna go?
  6. Trying to keep it all Skar? My game plan before my builds 100% done was 2 Zvx15d2s and 2 sk2500 at 2ohm. If space isn't an issue there's the 4500, and later this year we should be getting a 3000.
  7. Where you going to put the amps under the rear seat? Lemme brainstorm on this one. Strappings usually only done on bigger amps. But either case, the ZVXs are power hungry.
  8. Ground yes. It is possible to run them separately, but that means 2 bass knobs to worry about. And unless you have access to a DD1 and CC1, gain and crossover matching will be troublesome. I believe strapped they'll be double the power of a single 1500 at 2ohm. How much space do you have to work with?
  9. Got the Vxi65s in along with the 85.4 and found a spot for my knob when I get the Sk2500. Skar has impressed me in person now. Butttttt I forgot to take pics.. mfer >_

      looking forward to seein' it

  10. A quick google brought me to this maybe itll help make since if your not getting a clear idea from how I described it. Also, strapped amps are only 2ohm stable. Oh, and you'd wire the subs to the master sk1500.1D. Keep in mind the ZVX subs are dual 2 and dual 1 ohm. So go accordingly with what would register a 2ohm load after being wired down to ensure stability with the amps. Strapping amps Wiring dual 2ohm woofers to show a 2ohm load
  11. Well all the sub amps, the sk1500d for instance has a master/slave option. We call this strapping. There's an output/input and a switch to set the amp to either master or slave. With the slave, if I'm not mistaken, you just need to run power and remote plus the "strap" which is a single RCA. Now the subs on the other head is where ohms law comes in to play. I've personally never strapped and wired subs up so I'm not going to lead you down that path of misinformation. Maybe someone else can chime in.. But are you limited on space, thus the choice of the 1500s?
  12. Neither portal are taking me to the manuals. I've got an 85.4 on hand so figured if you had a question I could look in the manual lol.
  13. Got some AudioTechnix wire in the mail.. 100ft 16ga. Ran the front tweeters and doors to the trunk to the crossovers. Finishing up tomorrow night. Should have the Skar mids and highs going with a DD1 + CC1 tune. Excited

  14. Apprently 2 3/8" means 3-4" with Install Bay... Baffles I ordered are too deep.

Well it would still have to be regulated to some extent..like not allowing people to grow, or sell. You'd still have to fight that, but legalize it and control the sale of it via govt controlled stores, etc.

  16. The hunt for a high output alternator is on! So far one company may be getting a happy customer. Awaiting a reply from DCPower

Yeah I've seen the feedback about all that. Anythings better than the stock alt though, 85amps of fail. Lol Might go with Tenney unless the Mechman'll match up with minimal machining

I've never had any issues with DC not responding. I always get a response within a couple days and my alt shipped out 2 days after I ordered it

Its all in timing. DC is No.1 in my  book, and worth the wait.

  17. I thought it was a worthy question Cheif, many might like the performance but now they have the option of looks too
  18. Your math might be a little off, judging from the last updated post with prices. 2x VVX10 d4 $130ea shipped 1x Sk1500.1D $325 shipped Total - $585 shipped. Just saying bud, struck me a little off. he is in Alaska.. Shipping is more That does make sense, I didn't take that into account.. Where's the :dumbass: emoticon when you need one?
  19. When we place an order for a VVX lined woofer, can we request for a v1 or v2? Or are you guys planning on blowing through the V1 stock by the 20th?

  21. Got an order in to AudioTechnix and Sonic for some goodies to get started on the Skar'd Aveo. Tired of drooling over these Vxi's and 85.4

  22. He's flying out for the show. It's all about the setup I guess lol. And they offered so why wouldn't Steve take advantage of it? Saved gas > driving 400+ miles (guesstimation from his shop/house to the show).
  23. My airbag lights been on for 2 months now. It's really getting annoying. Reconnecting all my sensors didnt do jackshit
