    they are around 400 watts rms maybe a little more. For 50 bones a sub I would jump on that. Power them with around 1500 watts between them and they should bang hella good for 200 bucks of subwoofer.

    actually below tuning not all of the sound is coming from the port....the only time most of the sound emanates from the port is right around the tuning frequency.

    I'd say quite trying to save yourself...your statement about 90 degrees has nothing to do with limits and curves...its a 90 bend whether its a curve or a 45. doesn't matter. you obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

    The woofers would not have the same parameters...its simple if they did than they would be the exact same subwoofer

    I have no 45's in my 33hz 1/4 wave resonator yet its loud as hell. 45s would probably make it a little louder and smoother response but it sounds fine as is.

    i have a single 15 Pr in 4.3 cubes net ported at 40Hz...pounds HARD. Handles 500 watts like a champ too

    That is why there is HornResp to model tapped horns, rear loading horns, and other horns. Throwing together a tapped horn and guessing the compression ratio and expansion rates whether its conical taper or exponential taper usually ends in crappy results.

    its case dependent. In my truck the sound sounds A LOT better and louder the with sub 180 out of phase with the speakers. With the sub in phase the output drops by atleast 4db I have no idea why though.

    just tell him if his theory is right than if you placed a piece of wood into a vacuum and another piece exactly the same in a chamber with pure oxygen in it the wood in the oxygen would be stronger?
