  1. Just got back from getting new tires. I was quoted about $670 for all 4 (including installation, etc), but talked them down to $625.Expensive month is expensive. Had to drop almost $300 or $400 (can't remember which) on brakes a couple of weeks ago.

      Kylar: good or bad? :P

I got them down to around what I later saw online, so no complaints there. I didn't mention any prices that I saw online, just the fact that what they wanted was going to hurt a little too much. Warranty probably didn't help much either. They needed to be replaced anyway (cracking, wear, and one had a screw).

  2. Don't pass out, play some drunk BF3
  3. Crap, I just bought the Deluxe DLC on Steam, forgetting that I already had the Deluxe version. Oops.
  4. I might have to try that. I haven't gotten to any of the camps yet.Still chipping away at my backlog, so some of my newer games are on the backburner.
  5. I had an old TV that I had my Atari 2600 hooked up to. I also put the rabbit ears on it as well, just to play with. I had a regular 13" TV with cable for everything else. I actually only got cable again a few months ago, so we had to do the whole "rabbit ear" thing for a while. Also, I miss when old shows like that were on Nick at Nite. I wasn't a huge fan of that show, but I do remember watching it occasionally
  6. I didn't know Nvidia made engines That is awesome. The only thing that bugs me is that the side vinyls don't match up with the hood.
  7. LOLI'm not a huge fan of the RPG elements, but I love the eye candy.
  8. I tried a bit of Crysis 1 multiplayer back when I used my E8500/HD4850 rig, but no matter what settings I used, it was a laggy mess (both frame rate and connection). My connection sucked at the time anyway. I haven't tried it on this rig yet though.
  9. I have it preordered on the PC I still need to finish all of the other ones though
  10. Hutch Seananners live stream I'll have to try recording some of my gameplay later.
  11. Yes FC3 is gorgeous. I have it on the PC (I don't remember my settings though) http://steamcommunit...s/?id=111692136 http://steamcommunit...s/?id=112011102 http://steamcommunit...s/?id=112011071 And yeah, BL2 is nonstop hilarity. "The Name Game" mission from Sir Hammerlock is one of my favorites. You'll see why
  12. BL2 definitely. Out of the others mentioned, FC3 is the only other one I have even played a little bit of it.
  13. Sick setup. and you already know I do Also: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/157078-need-buds-to-play-bf3-with-on-pc/
  14. I was in earlier, posted something while platypus and sensai were in there, then I got kicked. Hit the back button then the "I agree" button to get back in and got that error. After a couple of tries I finally got in
  15. Finally got the straight pull bolt for the SV98 last night. I don't think I have to unscope just to change another round. Also for fun, I tried the SKS with ironsights. Couldn't hit a guy climbing out of the water on the ladder, and his teammate shot me in the back. I like bolt action sniper rifles. It makes it feel like more skill is needed for follow up shots instead of just spraying, like people do with the semi-auto snipers. I guess that bias also comes from Counter Strike as well.
  16. I might, depending on how busy work gets As far as the platoon thing goes, I was thinking of just using the site name due to length restrictions. It can be changed later
  17. I'm enjoying being shot in the face from across teh map with an iron-sighted SMG. /sarcasm Seriously, that one map with the train tracks (the one with the train tracks high up), it's happened numerous times. I am getting better with the sniper rifles though. I'm torn between the SV98 and teh SKS. I do love the fact that you can pretty much tweak loadouts on the fly, until a medic comes along and revives you lol. I "stalked" Audio and Meade again. I had to ragequit one match due to getting raped by tanks and helicopters every time I would spawn. Also suiciding by C4 when trying to take out tanks lol
  18. I got about 8 hours in last night and this morning lol. My eyes were burning. That was fun. I almost went ahead and made an SMD platoon, but decided not to. Edit: Installing TS anyway, even though I don't have a mic (actually I do, but I don't use it). I forgot that TS had a player limit unless you pay for it. We used to use it for the Counter Strike: Source clan I was in. I think we ended up switching to Ventrillo for a while
  19. I just joined their match. They were in different squads though. Battlelog updates FTL. I guess that's what we get for playing at 4AM in the morning Also some of the spawns are irritating as hell. I thought the ones on CoD was annoying, but I've had numerous ones were as soon as I spawn in, I die. It just spawns me like 5 feet from an enemy who is staring at me.
  20. Just got done playing with Meade and Audiofanaticz AF and I kept running into each other . Conquest isn't so bad now that I understand it a bit more. I guess I was just nervous the first time I tried it, being unfamiliar with the maps and gameplay. I don't think I did too bad actually. I did kill myself with the C4 once while trying to blow up a tank, but my second attempt against a tank with C4 was successful. And yes, I was playing the objective Skill level -6.45 Kills 9 Deaths 14 K/D Ratio 0.643 Kill Assists 0 Vehicles Destroyed 2 Vehicle Destroyed Assists - Accuracy 12% Score Award Score 400 Squad Score 10 Team Score 10 Objective Score 400 General Score 2635 Unlock Score - Assault Score - Engineer Score - Support Score 2935 Recon Score - Vehicle Score 160 Bonus Score 40 Combat Score 3095 Total Score 3495
