The statisfaction of getting to help a friend with a build and not having to do any of the hard work yourself. :]

i don't know how many times i have to answer this. I might just copy/paste it to a notepad docutment so i can just paste it again next time someone asks. Look bro, i don't do installs for the public. I am not a stereo shop. My shop is my private garage, my man cave. I only do my own stuff and maybe a few small side jobs from time to time. I avoid doing peoples cars like it was aids infested blood on the floor and my feet have open wounds. I just don't do it. To much liability and CUSTOMERS SUCK ASS. I hate customers. Today, i install your box and an amp. 3 months from now, your horn stops working. Guess who the customer blames, the last person who touched the car, regardless if he (me) went anywhere near the horn. no thanks.... I was only planning on setting Mokes gains with the DD-1 till i saw what he had. If i didn't know him 30 years, he would still be riding around with that shit the way it was. I feel the same way. After last time, i said i was done doing anymore installs....well my brother calls me up saying his boss just needs a little done on his camper...and i reluctantly agree.... NEVER AGAIN. no more installs for anyone else EVER.

it seems i have the squeel fixed for now. I contacted you about a problem with a bolt stripped on the case and got an answer. I am now wondering how much it costs to get the pulley and plug changed to another vehicle? I am pretty sure i will be changing to a new vehicle in the soon months. -

Belt has been replaced. still makes the squeeling. did some tweaking, tightened a bolt that fastens it to the engine case, that helped a little. The tighter i make the belt, the shorter it squeels for. However, i already feel like the belt is way too tight. how tight should my belt be? -

Have you replaced your belt? I turned the idle up, did not fix it whatsoever. I have not replaced the belt. That will be next. Could it possibly be that my batteries are dying and upon start-up the alternator is trying to charge them up and adding extra stress? -

I can, I turned it down and this problem started happening a few weeks after. I will turn it back up to see if it solves the problem.
