  1. You should have left the smaller pulley on. And replaced the belt with a smaller one. That is most likely your voltage issue.
  2. $185 here. http://www.rakuten.com/prod/kinetik-khc1800-vehicle-battery-81000-mah-sealed-lead-acid-12-v-dc/202695406.html?listingId=318907360&scid=pla_google_Cutsaver&adid=29963&gclid=CJbljerB874CFclr7AodVjEABQ
  3. Could it be the adjustable voltage boost module? Try to adjust it again. If it still is giving you a problem i would contact mechman.
  4. Nice give away and all, but, Why is it now days for all these contest giveaways you have to log into facebook? Most grown folks out their dont have facebook nor the desire to ever join facebook.
  5. Ask mechman for an adjustable voltage boost module for your alternator.
  6. Agreed, title was misleading. Thinking about a car, not a dune buggy Anyways i'm sure it will be tons of fun. kinda a car i think a sand car. haha. I had to make it interesting or it woulda gotten guessed too fast. Im pretty surprised someone got it to be honest LOL Me to, hell of guess. It's all good Steve, enjoy the shit out of it.

  8. contact mechman. They have their own voltage regulators for their alternators.
  9. If one rca is clean and the other is dirty. Just use the clean rca with a no signal loss y adapter. Problem soled.
  10. If you dont have time to call due to work hrs. I would email them again. It's possible they didn't get the email. They have always responded back to me within a few hrs. That's one of the things i really like about mechman is their great customer service.
  11. Just out of curiosity, why would you set the amp on top the Dyno when testing? Also would like to see the soundstream TA 3000.1 get tested.
  12. Sounds legit, but i would wait to see how reliable and how long they stand up to normal use. And are they efficient, do they run hot and how clean is the signal compared to quality name brand amps used by members on the forum.
  13. Well use these pictures in your dispute. It should be obvious to any one, they are not the same amp. The photo he sent you shows missing paint and chips on the fins/heatsink. Also his gain, freq and bass boost controls are centered and pushed in. While your controls appear to be level but up and to the right. Hope you get their asses man. Just use their own photo's against them. Edit to add both pics
  14. upgrade your amp wire gauge, ground amp to chassis, Start testing with meter. That's a huge difference in voltage drop from one batt to the other.
  15. Nut hugging know it all kids. Who when proven wrong, still can not except they might be wrong, And sometimes there is more than one way of doing things.
  16. I think it's a good idea using stock alt and batt to run vehicle. Then getting HO Alt and 14v batts to power your audio equipment. Hell yea if your amps can handle the 16.7 volts they will see. DO IT
  17. Did you not have the option for the 370, it has good low idle rpm specs 370 amp 6 phase Elite series 300 rpm turn on speed 200 amps @ 500 rpm 250 amps @ 800 rpm 370 amps @ 1800 rpm Twin rectifier plates 12 press fit high amp diodes $749
  18. I agree with snowdrifter, if you have exhausted all the trouble shooting and dont find any other issues. Well send it back in like Mechman told you to. Not sure what more you want. You shouldnt really bash a company when they tell you send the product back in and they will fix it. In my experience Mechman is know for great customer service.
  19. Those amps are strappable, so even if you get the X, you can still run two of the audio technix and strapp them. Comes with amp wiring kit.
  20. Better amp option on a budget? Say in the $2-300 range? If you run two 12's, i found the audio technix. Get two of these, one for each sub.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Audio-Technix-800-1-amp-amplifier-1-Ohm-Stable-Class-D-Free-4-gauge-wiring-kit-/151170828964?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item23327bcaa4
  21. Either set up will be good, probably about equal output. But your not going to get the power you think you are from the audiopoop amp.
