Personally with those choices I would take the hifonics. And no 200 watts won't really make any difference, but the hifonics is built better then the sony and will probably last you longer.

with 3 30 amp fuses.... no it won't do rated power.... not even close

I have 2 TC-1000 10's laying around and to be honest they are awesome subs. I have owned the TC-3000 15 and loved that as well. Personally I don't think you can go wrong with TC Sounds at all. I do agree about the Fi/RF based forum, but I think one of the main reasons is a lot of people don't have experience with other brands.

Well you can give your money to who ever you want Chode, but I will stick to more honest companies. Edit: In all honestly the punch stuff isn't even worth buying so of course I wouldn't waste my money on it, subs sound like shit and amps aren't the greatest either. The power series IMO isn't near as good as ppl say it is, a friend of mine has 2 T1 12's on a power series amp (don't know the model, size wise its probably the 1000 but i don't really know) they are ported (don't know the size of the box either) I wasen't really all that impressed at all. I know its not a shitty install as he does nice work. Its in a 02 extended cab GMC. His setup before that very nice for what it was (single 12 inch MTX 8500, 500 watt MTX amp with the sledgehammer box) I have heard it and I wasen't impressed, but my ears aren't the same as yours. If you like it then great more power to ya. But at the sametime I explained why I don't like them and its a take it or leave it rule... I don't knock you for buying it, so don't get mad at me for not liking it
