  1. Bought a caliper cube so I wouldn't spend all night compressing the calipers with needle nose pliers but they didn't fit lol at least the new pads are quiet

      The piston of those type's of caliper's is typically flat with a couple v shaped groves in it and a couple holes where the post on that tool would fit into.

      If you try to push it back in it won't move at all, you have to spin it in.

      Some also have a flat face with four holes in it.
