I mean hes trying to get yt views likes etc. Besides us folk, the average joe with subs has no idea what clamped is. Thats the problem. They wanna see windows breaking subs on fire etc. I Like amp test tues personally. It would be cool to do traditonal clamp test and compare etc to show how far off it is compared to the ad-1. Also the amps tested are largely small amps, itd be nice to test 1k+ amps. Or even have an amp showdown. Like given x amount of $$$ whats the best option. Etc Like tomshardware does: they do pc budget build One rig for 500 another for 1000 another for 3000 like every other month and bench them against eachother with overclocked scores also. They even have like best cpu or video card for the money. And reccomend certain parts based on the current prices, they update that quite often. While itd be a mess figuring how to do all that for car audio.. itd be worth it. Your clampin amps cool. You gotta keep ppl hooked on yt. Expand improve etc. Long post sorry

Wow thats insane. You shoud clamp the input to see how many amps its pulling versus what the fuses say.

I just wish there was an SMD digital vm. I like to see the numbers, not have to read the tiny subscript to see what that voltage is. The colors tell you when your voltage drop is bad and I get that. And thats cool. But if I was driving while testing some stuff out, I wanna be able to say my voltage dropped to 11.5 on that note or w.e the case. Not my voltage was orange.. Theres no way id be able to read that while driving. My only other gripe is the size. Say one day i was like f it ima get me one of those smd vm-1s ya know for another build or another car w.e .. its kinda big. woudlnt fit it the spaces one of those digital ones would or at least some of them. The vm-1 is cool no doubt. And yea it IS better than my cheap stinger that has finally started acting up ...after 5 years.. but stil. but i just wanna SMD version of the digital meter. awesome board of 30 meters though, thats awesome.

If you could get the top spider to separate enough to fish hook sew it, it shouldn't be that hard. If not then just leave it. Put a pad on the cone and leave it. Is think you would want an equal pad on the other side to keep everything balanced but I small piece of pad on one side wouldnt be the end of the world. That sucks that happened to you. Its either too much x or the leads weren't sewn in that great. Likely the former. Def wouldn't use glue though. Read all 16 pages at work FTW. You could maybe secure the lead down by the terminal area. Sorta like how ppl use zip ties to secure direct leads. It might help a tiny bit. Gl man

So did you just make a wood box over the hump so to speak or..? I thought you were gonna fiberglass over it. but the video kinda skipped that part. The port doesnt get blocked by the door either? How much clearence do you have on that side? Either way looks pretty cool. You should build the exact box out of plexi to show off those tooled baskets etc

Wire popped out of the terminal while driving idk how the hell that happened. Speakers went crazy before I could pull over and pull the loc harness approx 1 min of craziness. Anyway freakin zip tie / etaped the terminals been driving for a week with my gains at very minimal settings didnt have time to dd1 etc. DD-1'd today etc played a song for ehh maybe 10 sec, rolling up to max volume to listen for tweaks etc.. too much bass for my liking stock h/u is very "bassy" I always turned the bass on the eq down to like -8/10 even on factory speakers.. was set at flat anyway turned it back down from oh about 5 sec of max volume. right woofer has rattling noise now, only on bass drum etc type notes can be heard at low volume not at all really on high volume. ima take off the panel tomarrow to check to see if it isnt a loose piece of plastic or something.. hopefully but not likely. anyway, if I wanted to replace it, could i order a single woofer and if so could you give me a quote please? thanks

get the biggest ond that fits your car. usually companies offer ranges for amperage depending on your car. Youll wanna upgrade later and selling alts almost always ends up losing money. you dont wanna end up buying two alts etc so just buy the biggrst one first

before i used velcro the backs of the xover cases to mount.. I wanna screw em down now, but I dont have the screws with the lil paper washer on them anymore.. could i use a regular screw? dont wanna potential mess up the pcb.. couldnt find a direct picture. i could always go take one...
