4 hellacheap 12"s, already ordered, should be here by next thursday, doing a doublefold tline, picture says it all. should be good till i can get an 18", what do you guys think?? thinking of getting perfect plywood for the top and flexstoning the sides. going in a 2 door jeep cherokee, hella dampened. EDIT: will be crossed at 120hz.

A jeep. Get a 2002 or older Cherokee or grand Cherokee. Reliable as shit and they get around 20mpg or more.. -

Nice i recently just got a 1993 jeep cherokee 4x4 and i am putting a(small) system in it for now. Till i can gather up some serious cash. But jeeps are nice non the less. -
Hey I acquired a 95 cherokee and I want some serious bass in that sumbish. I was thinkin bout 4 DC 18XLs on two 3K watt amps. I am gonna upgrade the electrical of course, probably dual HO alts and around 4 batts. Just shoot me some suggestions on what u would do for a serious setup for under $5K lol. Shoot me some box design ideas that work well in suvs, and I was thinking bout walling it so all opinions welcomed thanks. -

One of the hardest hitting vehicles I've ever owned was a 92 Cherokee, I had 2 kicker compvr 12's in a bandpass box firing up at the roof with a JL 500/1 @ 2 ohm. The roof shook really bad but at the time I didn't care. I hit 153.5db. My friend's told me I shook their windows when I drove by. I'd make the whole house rattle. -

Okay guys i am stuck. I have a 1993 4x4 jeep grand Cherokee and i have looked everywhere and there is no where to run the power wire through the firewall. No unused grommets that i can find and all the ones that i can find are not big enough. Someone told me that there is one but i dont see it. If you have any ideas shoot them my way. I am trying not to drill through the firewall just yet. Thanks BTW i am using 8gauge power wire.

it might depending on what kind of car ya have. in a prefabed slot port box tuned to 45hz in a jeep grand cherokee i'm hitting 144 at 35hz. but i need a better box and more voltage -

i have 2000 jeep grand cherokee laredo and my alternator charges at 13.6 at idle i know alot of people would tell me thats a good thing but i want it to charge at 14v i hooked up a dmm to it and it was charging at 13.6 just regular at idle no electronics turned on so i turned on all my electronics such as defroster headlights , and ac/ and heater and radio and also the fan was on for the radiator and it was still the same ... then i accelerated to 3-4000 rpm and the voltage went up to 13.8 does anyone know if this is normal or is it a bad alternator? and is it possible if go get it rebuilt and tell them if they can add more amps or something to make it charge better like change the voltage regulator in it? thanks to anyone that helps and also i got no electrical upgrades yet and the battery is a wet cell battery probably will upgrade to a deep cycle dry cell later .

i would like to find a bracket to run atleast one more alt. but cant seem to find a bracket anywhere for a 2005 jeep cherokee . if anyone can guide me in the direction id appreciate that and as for the runs of wire yea that will have to increase also but it still doesnt change the way the RF produces its smooth roll off bass. and if i tune it higher it wont be a good daily driver after.

hahahaha yeah i have been driving myself nuts too! my grand cherokee needs a complete update. i took my "temp system" and put it in the wifes car for some decent sound cus she is not a total bass head like me! and gutted the wiring and back part of the grand. i found the door speakers are now trash and i had a temp h/u ever since my clarion 7" touch screen took a dump! that pissed me off 1200 bucks and just after a year it craps out. no more warrantee. lol. so yeah i have been driving arround going crazy too. I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!!!!

I wouldn't trade my Toyota FJ for anything on the market in a comparable price range right now. I have looked, extensively last winter when I was debating going thru with installing all of the sound deadener in it. I even looked at a mustang ( I gotta say the "bullitt" edition is pretty sweet ) , test drove a rx-8, a mazda CX-7 , the nissan exterra and pathfinder, the Jeep cherokee , all sorts and types of vehicles. I wanted to find something that sparked my interest in some way. I wanted to get something with better mileage, maybe more performance in leiu of mileage, I just thought I was getting "bored" with the novelty of owning a "Retro FJ-40" . After looking and driving tons of vehicles, I decided to keep my truck. The quality, the comfort, the reliability, all of it done by toyota in a way that GM, Ford and especially Chrysler can never dream of doing. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of american vehicles , but for the originality, uniqueness, and build quality of the FJ cruiser, the damn thing is hard to beat. It fits my needs, and I am very proud to tell people I drive it, and how much I like it. Ford has got a long way to go. Have you seen the Ford flex, for 37 grand you get a exact copy of a scion xB, only larger. Why the hell is the Flex 37,000.00 dollars? Scion did it smaller, I know, but simple, fuel efficient , roomy, and innovative for 15 grand. I could see maybe 23-26 grand for the flex , but Ford Needs Help. They need new designers ( exception is the mustang ) and new automotive engineers, and a new board of directors. If they don't make changes they will lose lose hold on every part of the market, including the #1 spot of the F-150 pickup. -
hello, i have 2 brand new 7" mobile tv brand headrest tv's they each come with a slim remote, headrest shroud which u may use or not use, and a little stand with a pivoting ball if u decide to mount on a flat surface and not the headrests. i never used them they are brand new, i have a had the 5" versions of these in my grand cherokee and they looked great , that is why i bought these for my tahoe but i ended up getting a great deal on vizualogic screens already in the headrests so i bought those and these mobilt tv's have been sitting in my room for the past year. anyway i would like to get $200 each for them. i believe i paid $325 each from a local shop. if u are in the nyc area you are more than welcome to come and see them.

Well when coming to finding out how to build a box with the right dimensions i have no idea what I'm doing. Thats why I'm here to ask you guys for your help. If i get measurements and stuff i can build it. I'm not to good at finding them out though, so I'm looking for 5cubes and tuned for 33hz. it will be going in a Cherokee. looking for any help If it helps its 1 DD 9515 BTW i WOULD but can try others like the sub and port were back.

i was reading a review on memphis mcd1500 model MONSTER is all i have to say about this amp. i have it hooked up to two orion hcca 12.2 and man do they pound. the make my roof flex a foot in my jeep grand cherokee. i actually had a buddy ear start to bleed from this amp. it is great lmfaoooooo
