protocaster69
So when I get my tax check next friday i'm going to pick up my new truck... 90 extended cab Toyota pickup. (build will come shortly afterwords) I'm planning on getting a AQHDC3 18 dual 1 copper coil, and a AQ2200. Run it at .5 ohm, gonna make sure my electrical is up to par. If I have problems with the amp not liking I'll just run it at 2 ohms... No biggie. Having said that... Anyone have any experiance with enclosues in these trucks? I have no use for the rear seats, so everything behind the front seats is fair game. What I need suggestions on... Sub must be facing forewards thats the only way it will fit I think... It may fit facing up... depends how tall the box is... Which way would be the best way to fire the port? Up? Foreward? Side? Thanks for any help you guys could give me... protocaster69
Running the amp at .5 ohm to get the most power out of the biggest amp I can afford... Like I said if I don't like it i'll run it at 2... It seems pretty common to run them at .5 ohms... leg room is why I said I wouldn't like the sub up... I'm liking the idea of port up, or forward... I just dk... lol
