hdorre
Yup. they're pretty much custom orders because they dont get alot of sales with them. if you want some, PM thor, chode, or rusty. or CJ18, dwright, or corona_jeff, and a few others. Damn, there are a lot of dealers!! You right about that. Lol. I'm surprised none of them ain't fighting over customers. Bahaha. I know, right? CJ18
I honestly dont know about the Level 1s but for the price the Level 2s are going to be way better. When you think about it what would you want, something that isnt made except maybe once or twice a year or something that is made and sold every day and would be much easier to re sell if you decide to. Plus the level 2s are cheap for the performance you get. My level 2s were just fine on 500w each.
matt402
agreed go with a lvl 2. i heard a single lvl 2 12 in a focus do 137-8db =].
twistajay
the level 1 is not a built sub it is a pre-made woofer that was design for people who just wanted the bass accent it only can take a true 175 watts r.m.s. there was no need for that woofer because the level 2 was a solid performer and there was really no price difference. i hope this has helped the person who was curious about the level 1's i have been a dealer(only in virginia) since 2009 and i have never sold a level 1 to be honest a level 2 will be much better in the long run
MrSkippyJ
agreed go with a lvl 2. i heard a single lvl 2 12 in a focus do 137-8db =]. my single lvl 2 12 did a 131 in a box made for another sub was originally a sealed box for a JL, the cut a hole in it and slapped the DC in there. I am hoping to get another level 2 this summer! I put a port in the box. What I meant was the box was never designed to have a port, so I just cut a hole and stuck some PVC pipe in it. 3" about 11" long or so, tuned to about 35hz. It is totally rigged up and ghetto looking (at the port spot) and I will be rebuilding this summer for 2 level2s. THe box has no 45s and the port is too close to the back wall, which is probably raising the tuning some. Cu ft of the box is pretty spot on, it isn't small.
