Trâgîk
My options on wiring my subs is either 1 ohm or 4 ohm final load for my two dc 3.5ks strapped so obviously they will either see .5 or 2 ohms a piece. I dont know how safe it is to run them at half ohm but what do you guys think with my electrical: I have a XS power D1200 up front and 4 xs power d3400's in the back with a dc power 270xp and 4 runs of the kolassas kable or whatever it is from knukonceptz What do you guys think i should do? I wish i had D2's!! Lol but do you think id be ok at .5 each amp? -----SELLING EVERYTHING---- 2 DC sound labs 3.5k's (still avail) 2 HDC312A D1's (still avail) 5 XS Power Batteries (1 d3400 and 1 d1200 left) 4 runs of knukoncepz 0 gauge (have all the wire still) DC power 270XP alt (sold) RF T1 6.5 components (both sold) Powerbass XAX 4160 (still avail) Custom built box 4.75^3 tuned 34hz (still avail)
CJ18
I think you should be good. Worst case you could just add an extra battery or 2 if your voltage drops too much.

Ford302Redneck
Best thing I can tell you do is, try it. If the amps hold up and your voltage is good, I don't see a problem. I agree, worst case you may need another battery or two. Or maybe I'd even look into adding another alternator, if possible. Low voltage and low impedance, don't mix. skittlesRgood
im going to guess you will see down to 12v, dont think you will see anything lower. personally i would do it but you cant be mad at the equipment if it fails. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. Will you lose ur warranty doin .5?.... Thats alor of money to throw away if something happens he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:

Thats alor of money to throw away if something happens Yeah i specifically asked that and i was told no but i still dont want it to fail. But i guess you guys are right, just try it and watch my voltage. I might need one more 3400 i think but im still building my box. I have two HDC312A's I know that is probably a little to much power for them if run at .5 ohms but i know they can handle quite a bit -----SELLING EVERYTHING---- 2 DC sound labs 3.5k's (still avail) 2 HDC312A D1's (still avail) 5 XS Power Batteries (1 d3400 and 1 d1200 left) 4 runs of knukoncepz 0 gauge (have all the wire still) DC power 270XP alt (sold) RF T1 6.5 components (both sold) Powerbass XAX 4160 (still avail) Custom built box 4.75^3 tuned 34hz (still avail)
