why do people put fiberglass in

Think about WHy do they put bondo on fiberglass? To make it strong too...

bondo is weak and cracks and is used for making imperfections in your glassing - ie bubbles /dimples and makes it smooth

now long grain fiberglass bondo is strong

I know it helps with the airflow because you have a smoother surface, but as far as if it drops the impedance rise, i couldn´t tell because on my testings i didn´t have a clamp meter on hand :(

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HELPS LOWER BOX RISE

Are you being serious? How does that work?

by making it smooth it allows the air to move easier and with less resistance which lowers your which lowers your box rise and all together your impedance rise will be lower

i thought it just sealed the wood to prevent the mdf from absorbing/leaking air

as far fetched as that sounds

Do you have any tests, experience, or knowledge to reference? If you're trying to rationalize on paper, I think there may be a small issue.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

show me test results or tell us if this is just your theory or hearsay.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.
