SasquatchREG32
I'm new to this forum so dont know if I'm posting this in the correct area. Anyways I currently have an Orion HCCA 12.2 and I want to upgrade to a 15" subwoofer. I've narrowed my list to a few subs: Dc lvl 5 or 6, Fi BTL-N2, DD 9500, nightshade 15", or a HCCA 15.2. These subs will be powered by an RF T2000-1bd. Any other subs recommendations would be great also. This set up will be for daily purposes so a bit of SQ with SPL is what I am aiming for. I am still new to this audio thingy so a little help would be good also. My car is a little 1996 Hinda Civic EX. Big 3 is done, 130-140 HO alt (may need a bigger one) and no second battery that's all for now I hope you guys could help me out
Elrey7698
Get the 18" btl bro.. Might as well go big... Plus the 18" btl is not much more expensive than the 15"
deeje
If your only doing that much power definitely dont do a level 6 and probably not a level 5 an xl would handle it no problem so would a regular btl not a n2. hdorre
IF I had a potential 2200 wrms, I would look into a stock BTL first. If it wasnt possible to get that (for some odd reason), I would PM CJ18 (a dealer) and have him send you a DC XL Edited for grammar Edited February 11, 2011 by hdorre Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

notorious97200
With 2000 w rms, you can get a FI btl N2 (even fully loaded) or the DC XL. Are you sure you have enough room for a 15" sub in a proper box in your car ? If you think you will change for a bigger amp later, you can make another choice. just my 2 cts ! Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3 ported box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
SasquatchREG32
Thanks guys. I'm really leaning towards the Fi BTL-N2. I know 2000 will barely tick them but thats all I could do at the moment how good are the Dc xl's? How many kinds do they have? I gotta admit my Orion is VERY LOUD. Not only that it sounds very nice too. I want a sub to put that beast on a leash. oh and my friend is gonna run an AQ HDC3. I want something to put that bi t ch on a leash too lol. 00mgm
Id even look in to t3 audio. The t2000 or the T3 TSNS. Correct me if im wrong but ive heard T3 is really efficient on lower power.
