One question on them is, I want to mount this thing in my car and permanently hook it up to my setup, so all I have to do each night is plug it in and it will float them. is there mounts on the charger? can you change out the connectors on the ends to be terminals instead of the alligator clips (without cutting anything)? whats the warranty length? do you have any discounts going on ? Ive read conflicting reports around the net about needing a float load charger which is supposed to charge it at a slow rate(?) and then i'll see some places say any 12v deep cycle charger will due. 08tahoe Posted March 16, 2011 Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 Thaks cause i also want to use it to make money and 5 out 200 people here has an optima or a stinger battery so ill mostly be charging acid batterys It sais on optimas website that 10amps is the max you can charge optima batteries at and the hf1215 is a 15amp charger. I checked cause I wanted to charge the yellow top I took out of my car before I let my brother have it but I'm not gonna do it with my hf1215.
