I have 2 p1's on a 480w amp (overrated, actually producing 80w x 2 at 4 ohms) and my subs probably won't perform that much better even when I get my new p300 amp. Why in the hell would you put 2000w on these subs? They're rated only 300w RMS! They'll explode!
