Sorry dr. Subwoofer, we're just trying to help..those kicker amps would do fine at 1.6 ohms, especially after rise. This is not good advice, and even though impedance rise is the reason many subs even handle daily use, should be factored and considered only when applicable. This is not one of those times. I stay by my three suggestions, but will say VS threads are illegal because Tue biggest factor is preference. PM a dc dealer, get quotes, make a choice and then get to work.
