I know a guy named Derrick on this forum has a bro selling bxi2005ds for 250 each. I had one pounding great on my btls originally- it really came alive with more power, but you can upgrade later. I would personally get a bit bigger amp, but if you can't really at the moment it will still be very loud. I live in MB SC, so depending where you live in VA about 4 hours away. If the local shop quotes you a lot let me know, maybe we could work out something- I'm sure I could build you something for a much better price than just about any shop (I do it mainly for fun anyway)- it just depends on if you want to drive that far (gas would be 50-100 round trip). jstuntndagsxr Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 i think you will do better with the btl. i personally dont like the w7's that much even if they were cheaper.. as far as a cheap amp that will move something...SPL DK-3400D, or the power acoustik 3000db. i have some . they rated for dropping down and doing 4500 watts.. but who knows .. i like them. but i think im going to 2 btl 18"s and using the four 3000dbs i already have and chucking the 4 premier 3000's

sean 371 Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 ^^^ I have my 18" BTL on an MD3D and it definitely does the job. This guy I know has a range rover with two 13 w7's in it, and all his friends thought his system was the shit. Until they hop in my car with completely stock electrical (cept for a red top in stock location and big 3 done) and they can't believe how much louder it is. The 13w7's sound amazing no doubt about it, but the BTL blew it away. Put it in a 5-6 cu ft box tuned to like 36 hz. 18's hit the lows really well, so the box has to be a little small and tuned sorta high to hit the higher bass. Mines in a 7 cu ft tuned to 32 and I wish I had done it the way I recommended to you.
