matt3477
Suprised no comments on the size, or lack of, the factory deadener material. One more time for lulz. same thing in my oldsmobile intrigue, on the back wheel wells, well it used to be there, they sort of melted off.

OrionStang
So, I was expecting to be able to pick up my door panels today, but they are not done. Looks like it's gonna be another week. Meh, life happens. So for temporary music, i'll be using the 175.4 with my Polk 5x7's on the front and 6 Oynko tweets on the rear at 2 ohms, each tweeter seeing about 83 watts. Don't know where i'll put everything, but at least i'll have tunes until they all blow. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

OrionStang
So I need mids and highs until my doors get done. I have six of the bulk-buy Oynko tweets left . 3 on each side wired to 2 ohms getting around 83 watts a piece. I just ran the wires under the trim piece and the tweeters are kinda hanging there. Temporary of course. Mids for now The tweeters cannot handle the power of the DC 175.4. They all stopped working one after another about 15-20 seconds into 'We do it for Fun' Decaf version (part eight). A couple of them got so hot I could not touch them for a minute or two. They were seeing more than double rated, but I thought it would take longer than that. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

One more time for lulz. you dont have to completely cover a door in deadener for it to be effective x2 And much more then that is not needed when you don't have a system. It's deadening, not mass loaded vinyl.. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
