God how do the hertz sound? Cant wait to actually get mine in on full power. Will probably be putting about the same amount of power on mine, but have to replace my deck first as at max volume its putting out like 1.0 volts at the amp RCAs. :noob:

Cant wait to get them in and playing though...if only I was closer to a place where I could get mine done...im a noob and have to do them myself. =@

You already order the 10s?

They sound great! You'll like them.

And yes, 10's have been ordered and should get to me around the same time as my 5k. But i'm in line like everyone else. Talked to Rob for a little while this afternoon about some enclosure ideas. He knows a little about trunk boxes. I'm going to Vegas next week then plan on starting the new box next weekend. Its different :peepwall:

Hrmmm...maybe I should talk to him about mine. :ninja:

I heavily doubt you have room for a 4th in the trunk...OR DO YOU. 8)

I don't know what to call it actually, it could have a 4th order effect though. You'll see next week when I start it.

Just sketched up the new box design for the 10's. After alot of thought, I'm doing the port in the center, to keep the subs movement closer together. I'm heading to Vegas this week and will get the box started next Saturday, with Blues help again.

I also decided I will switch to a 3-way active front stage. The Hertz will run off the 175.4 and I picked up a Sundown SAX 100.2 for the Beyma 5" midrange speakers. So the Hertz 6.5's will play 80-300hz, the Beyma 5's will play 300-6500hz, and the tweeters will handle everything above 6500hz. I want to use an Audiocontrol 6xs crossover, but will probably just use FMODS(even though it was recommended not to) until I get the x'over chips I need for the 6xs.

Hopefully my 5k and XL's get here about the same time to get this setup in and playing.
