I have to agree with skittles on the fact that we dont know what life over there is like but that doesnt give them the right to trash talk the US after we extend helping hands to them Some of us do know how they live and how it is "over there". I'm sure Libya isn't much different than Iraq or Afghanistan. Even if you give them something, they want more, that's why I agree with not giving the shit. I was over in Iraq 3 times between 2003 and 2008, and all the anti-American crap was seriously pissing me off. We help out and rebuild THEIR country and we get shitted on. We trained them stupid fucks over there every year I was there and them pussies still cant take care of their own....and they're lazy to boot! I agree with others, we need to take care of OURSELVES before taking care of others. All these fucking celebrities and people wanting us to sponsor a child in where-ever-the-fuck-istan can kiss my ass. He had to go regardless. x2. We armed the bastard. It was our responsibilty to disarm Saddam. But, didn't we arm Qaddaffi too? probably at one point...im not sure. then again, we do stuff for our best interest and sometimes it backfires and then you are forced to do something about it. Just like we liberated Iraq, we are giving them a trained army with weapons and supplies as i type......build them up, make them independent, and then leave. 10 yrs from now when some extremist becomes "president" of Iraq and he hates the west, there is no telling what he will do with what we gave them. Then we will have to go clean house again and start from scratch. If we leave them defensless after we leave then another extreme government will fill the power vacuum and then were really fucked. Maybe we should make devices and weapons with little microchips in them, that they can use when its in our best interest... but if they try to fuck us or our allies, we can shut them down and make them useless with the flip of a switch. I watched it live and it really REALLY bothered me. But on another note, i didnt see any warships from Japan in our port with supplies when Katrina took out New Orleans. Again, we try to help the world and all they do is spit in our face. That is the entire point of this post. I agree we should stop helping these 3rd world countrys they have no love for us after we go to help them, but they love us b4 we help them so we will come. America needs to do somethings to help its own country out, i could make a long list but i dont feel like typing them all out. Edit: I believe America was offerd help from other countries when Katrina destroyed the Gulf region, but i believe the US said no we dont want ur help and we did it on our own. I could be wrong though.
