I'm relatively new to car audio. I've only been dabbling in it for a year and since I have a new car I have the shop do most of the install work to avoid screwing things up. With this topic I'm looking for any advice you guys could lend me as I transition into a full build for my car.

Car:

2009 Honda Accord Sedan

Currently Installed:

AVH-P3200DVD

4awg Streetwire

JL 10w6v2 in sealed enclosure

JL 500/1v2

Plan to Install:

AA Havoc 12" in ported enclosure

SAZ-1500D

1/0 Stinger kit

ESK 3-way Hertz Speakers

SAZ 100.2

Rammat BXTII Deadening

(I plan on removing the rear speakers entirely as well)

Right now what I'm concerned about is the electrical. I'm running stock batt and alt. Would it be better to upgrade my main battery or just get one for the trunk? Both? Should I upgrade the alt? I don't know the amperage of the stock alt so I'll have to get back to you guys on that one. Also, I haven't done the Big 3 either. How much 1/0 wire would suffice for the process?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :D

If your only planning to run 1600w or so, I would suggest getting another battery in the back ( XS D3400 should do the job) and doing the Big 3, though I'm not sure how much wire you would need.

You shouldn't need to upgrade your alt for that amount of power, though it wouldn't hurt any to do so.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

U have a 130a alternator, u should be ok, u will see voltage drop but an extra battery in back will help tremendously with the big 3. Bigger the better

I would upgrade the primary battery and add a battery in the back. XS of course.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Not sure if I'd have everything required, but I've definitely got a good supply of tools. All I have so far is the sub and amp. The box is coming from Argent Audio and I'm planning on buying the rest within the next 2 weeks.

I've been searching my local area for a respected shop to install everything. There's not much around here.

Yeah, I actually have a friend that could help with running wires. I wanted to find a shop that could make a baffle for the Hertz speakers and deaden my doors.
