So I took it to work all day and let it sit on the charger then put em both in their spot when I got home. They both have different decals but I guess that's what you get when you order 3 years apart. clearance with the back seats Then I was able to get my soldering done on my 8 awg for my 4 channels. The first one ( all the way to the right) I crimped then soldered but decided against that for the rest because it made it more difficult and bent the fork part a little bit from the pressure. Got some Knukonceptz goodies gotta get them corners tight Going to make a new floor with 1/4 inch mdf and 2x4 blocks underneath for support. I highly anticipate moving to Hawaii and will be taking the ex with me so in order for them to ship it everything in the vehicle needs to be attached. So I will be drilling through some factory nut cages through the quarter inch floor and subwoofer box to hold it down. I will probably throw some screws through the box into the mdf floor as well. Hopefully tomorrow I will get it cut, try out a roundover with my new router and such and get the 2x4 supports sized up. Sent one battery to a machine shop so they could make some terminals for me. will get that back tuesday I don't fuck around. Just playing but the port was long and skinny across the bottom. From what I recall it was 42 inches long and like only 3 inches wide. From the first song I could tell it wouldn't live up to the previous boxes I have had.. They were port center top to bottom like 7.5 x 16 inches or something like that. I kind of figured it would work that way but I just wanted to do some experimenting of my own. I have had 4 boxes for these havoc's in this explorer over the last 3 years and then minus the year I was deployed with the system ripped out. Going back to port middle and like I said going to do closer to 4 cu ft per sub instead of 5+. Lastly I was never devoted enough to paint or wrap the box so it was plain old mdf sitting there because I was always too impatient without bass I don't fuck around. Ji553r Posted August 10, 2014 Author Report Posted August 10, 2014 batt terminals threaded and installed. Would cut the wires to length but it's get buff time for my chesticles. I originally had the 2 XS touching each other side by side but then realized the terminals are too wide and would be touching! Yikes so I separated them by like 1/8" and to be safe I used my favorite sealant on the edge of the positive terminal just in case..... pics and will be working more on this tonight I don't fuck around.
