Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 so i'm about to start installing my system. 2 sundown nightshade 18's on 6k rms. basically i have a bunch of the walmart rca's laying around i can use but would it be worth it to pay like 30 bucks for the the stage 3 stingers? would i notice that much of a difference? BanginOnABudget Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 so i'm about to start installing my system. 2 sundown nightshade 18's on 6k rms. basically i have a bunch of the walmart rca's laying around i can use but would it be worth it to pay like 30 bucks for the the stage 3 stingers? would i notice that much of a difference? there is a difference with lows, but you could just buy RCA ends at parts express and make your own RCA's with high end speaker wire for less, and get better result. im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire. Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block.... 1990 Jeep Cherokee 2 Dr. Big-3 in 0g on Stock Alt. Supercharged DCs Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 The walmart ones will do fine, you won't notice much if any difference with the Stinger RCAs. Most are created equally, just a bit of color change is the only difference. Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

Reallunacy Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 If you are using the RCA's for a digital signal, use the cheapest you can that actually convey the signal. If you are using them for an analog signal, get the best quality set you personally can notice a difference from.
