ok, 12.2 is very low for resting voltage. you should take the batteries out and charge them one at a time then look at the resting voltage after about an hour, or more. see of one of them is a lot lower.

This happaned to me over about a month with my dc xl 15s.but it turns out Im starting to go deaf from the daily spl in my car.lol

Obviously there are some electrical points that need to be worked here...what is the voltage when music is playing? How are you reading the voltage? What equipment and what electrical upgrades? Have you checked the enclosure to ensure no breaks or cracks in the wood?

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
