I would not give them more than 1kw rms without the upgrades. I have put a real 2000w RMS on each of the 4 15's daily and had no issues. Bump an old vid. Both, Rusty and Thor, told me that Level 4s w/ lvl 5 coils and the additional spider pack is rated for 1500wrms. Im obviously not a rep, but thats what I was told by the main guys from DC The Level 5 upgrade includes the Level 5 coil and 1 medium spider and 1 dual leaded stiff spider and should handle 1500w of CLEAN power just fine. If you wanted you could add 1-2 more medium spiders that may help with any extra power. Quote
