ISO Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 They look nice don't they? I am quit anxious to find out what you think about them. I still have 2 functioning 1501BDs (the 2003 version, same amp) and 2 or 3 blown ones and I love them enough that I'm keeping them so they can be repaired if that damn expendable money would ever come around. Birth sheets on those were usually around 1700 watts give or take 100 watts at 2 ohm. You now have almost 50% more power now than you had a few hours ago. I hope you are grinning ear from ear. 3000+ watts into a single 4 ohm load but with 2 2 ohm subs I recommend running one amp per sub. There is no benefit to strapping them. lol I might have some end caps too if you need them. Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one. 97SSBlazer Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 I had an older "sharkfin" 1500, I loved it, The amps was built in 2001 and to this day is still beating. Its in my buddy's Chrysler 300. lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz. -= 2005 Tahoe LT =-Head unit: Pioneer AVH-X5500BHSSource: iPad Mini in dash Subs: 2 T1 12's Sub Amp: T1500-1bdCPWire: Rockford Fosgate 1/0 awgSignal Cable: MonsterFronts:Stock Bose for now:)Rears: Stock Bose for now:)MIds/High amp: Stock Bose for now:) 2005 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172529-2005-tahoe-my-17th-vehicle/ 2001 Monte Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160030-2001-monte-carlo-my-16th-car-lol/page-2#entry25309381997 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemead...oe-6-15-rf-15s/2001 Impala Build Log: http://www.stevemead...katzkin-inside/

I ordered wires, rca's, and connectors from knukoncepts since I dont have anything to put in a second amp. I also found a guy on ebay who makes custom bass remotes for the old power series for $90 so I may go that route instead of the connector since it would be cheaper since I didn't get remotes with them. I would be interested in some end caps though, probably not this week. Kinda broke now after buying some more wire butttt who cares 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free. ISO Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 No shit!!!!!!!!!!! louder even without the Punch Bass!!!!!! Cool. They are pretty tolerant amps. With ported boxes they may run 1 ohm with no problem without going into protect but they will thermal so you might need just a little fan on them. I would ask dude if they are modded. If they aren't then try and avoid modding them but you want to know because they will blow up with the simplist install mistake or if you blow a woofer. I bring this up because you said that it is being used at 1 ohm rite now. RFC-3215 has a remote with it, you don't need the factory remotes if you have the RFC-3215. I'm not really pressed about selling. The 3215 is damn hard to find so I picked an extra one up. For way too much money. LOL Well hell I'd rather have a rockford brand remote, didn't realize it had a remote. I'm going to ask him tomorrow because I'm not sure, I didn't run it for longer than 5 mins so it may still be unmodded. I hope they're unmodded because I plan on always running these at 2 ohms. 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free. ISO Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 I'm rite below Columbus. I think I'm pretty close to 2 to 2.5 hours away from you, maybe closer. My Zip is 43130 if you want to look at map quest or something. I would much rather deal in person and will drive half way. Good night I have to get off this computer.
