Quick question about distribution blocks

Recommended Posts

I have a distribution block that labels itself as (1) 0 gauge input, and (3) 4 or 8awg output.

I was just wondering, would be alright if I did it 4awg, 4awg out? I assume it would work, but I just wanted to make sure before I do it...

As long as the you can still clamp the wire snug it should work in a pinch. I haven't needed to try it though, but it should be fine for now.

Well if you use one 4awg in and two 4awg out then you need to make sure that the current draw of whatever you hook up to the two 4awg outs doesn't exceed the current rating of the single 4awg input.
