dubknight
Anyone know anything about them? They do rear mounted turbo systems, I've never ever heard of anything like this. Can anyone with experience or knowledge on this subject chime in? Linky: STS Turbo Edited April 11, 2011 by dubknight
wizart383
mounting the turbo will depend on the vehicle and engine.
white4d96
I've heard lots of good things about remote turbo kits, especially on emissions cars. Never built one though so not sure how hard it would be. Quote Too many projects, too little time...
Autruche
Rear mounted turbo systems are the way to go if you love having 3 times the turbo lag... Quote Need Test Tones/Sine Waves? dubknight
I sent them an email, hopefully they'll get back to me in a timely manner. I would be getting this for the added power for hauling an extra 600 pounds in the back of an elantra lol. Hardly for racing, turbo lag is irrelevant to me (: Although from what little reading I have done, it seems there actually is very little difference in turbo lag, and actually can do full boost by 3k rpm according to their website.. SR20DAZE
It all depends on tune, it can be laggy as hell or spool pretty quick on the tune and compression ration being run, and if i remember righ, sts systems run cooler cause they arent at the engine bay Quote Hahah damn cody She ain't that sexy.
