J.Reed Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 i´ve doing this with sweeps for a long time with good results, anyways, everyone do whatever you like and that´s it, i own a termlab and i can find peaks much easier than trying to do it blindsided What happens when the sub is hotter then when the sweep started to get to the actual "peak"? It can change the way the sub reacts. CHanging what is seen as peak to what is actual peak. Also with a sweep voltage drop can effect the true "peak". Thats all I'm saying. Also running a sweep at different power levels can effect where it is peaking. Sweeps are not 100%. Going Hz by Hz and with the exact same everything is what will do it 100% and thats with a 100% flat enclosure. Just like measuring wavepath to find resonant. Sure it may work quite a bit or be really close. But to be 100% its Hz by Hz and lots of testing. You wanna get loud ya gotta put in work END of story.
