Purplehaze
Hey guys, Purplehaze here, I wanted to put this out, just in case, you know. Anyway, I recently lost my job due to this economy, and to be honest, I am ready to start over new, somewhere else. I live in Southern Ohio, in what has to be one of the most depressed areas of the US. There is not much opportunity in a town of 300 people. I am 31 yrs old, and I have full custody of my son, so that will not be a problem. I am really good at a lot of things, I just need the right person to give me a chance. I'd like to find a career, or at least a dependable job, and start a new life in a new place. I'm sure many others feel the same way. I have been thinking of this for years, I just don't really know where to start. I'm open to any ideas, opinions or suggestions. Skullz
Careerbuilder.com is a pretty good place to begin hunting, you can check the entire united states for work in your fields of interest. Until recently i was very tempted to leave michigan for work in another state since we were one of the hardest hit since the 08 recession began. Purplehaze
whats your skill set and trade? I am a mechanic by trade, although I'm experienced in carpentry, HVAC, roofing, concrete, and many more. I've had a lot of jobs, only fired once. I'm a good worker, I just have some misdemeanors on my record, and so far that has kept me from getting a "career" job. Well, that AND my own immaturity. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:
