Tek Posted April 18, 2011 Report Share Posted April 18, 2011 the ap3000 only does 1500 @ 1 ohm if he needs 3000 true watts then he needs a ap6000 if they had one lol 1500@1 ohm x2. 3000@2 ohm x1. i think you need to get your facts straight well obvisouly they have 2 models of it, and old and a new design... so good deal i'm glad you're clearing me up, and since its the same setup as my hifonics.. there's only a 200 watt difference.. so not too bad.. are you trying to say that the amp puts out twice as much power at 2 ohms than it does at 1 ohm? I would never run the equipment but it does do rated, doesn't break the bank, and will work for your voicecoil configuration. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
