TeamHT
Too much someone inexperienced should deal with. I recommend staying with 2,000 watts and going with an XL Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

OP- if you have to ask, you likely will just end up ruining something. bumonskateboard6
im not planning to do it right now just thinking about future build before i even have my original one done lol MLK all the way. LVL5 will take TONS of power though...but it's gotta be mostly clean power. hdorre
im not planning to do it right now just thinking about future build before i even have my original one done lol How does that work out? I really think you should just stick to RMS, or just above it. Max power handling depends on MANY things- the user, box, port, etc Edited April 21, 2011 by hdorre Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

CJ18
If you have to ask about running 1 amp per coil then I say dont. Sell your current amp and buy a single amp that will put out the power that you want it to put out. this will save you alot of heartache and time figuring out shit that you arent going to understand. MACnonsence6
i see where there would be trouple running 1 amp per coil now becouse both amps would have to be set identicle to the other but the ap1800 can also be linked so i could still run to doing 3600 at 2 ohms Quote I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today.
