Supercharged DCs Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 Well, since my sub box is completely blocking my rear door speakers, I was wondering if I would be able to put them each in a sealed box to be able to place them somewhere else. Would they sound good? Better than before? Worse? I'm also wondering how Much cubes they would need, I'm assuming not much at all but want to get someone with experience to put in some info. The speakers are Fusion CS-CM60 6" components, tweeter will not be mounted in box. Thanks Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
nickers Posted April 28, 2011 Report Posted April 28, 2011 well putting them in a box would improve the cancellation that occurs with the back and front waves so technicallly speaking they would sound better, however when you put mids in a box sometimes depending on the size they can be a bit booomy instead of nice smooth notes, this doesnt bother me but it does for some. as for size .2-.3 is plenty. chevrolet all day er day.
