As far as power goes youll be getting whats needed even after rise and you KNOW its a great product. So what if it cost more, you get a whole lot better product then a AQ,Cresendo,DC,etc etc insert internet company amp here. Theres a reason they havent changed those amps for the most part in 15-20 years....THEY WORK and they work very well. I never understand the 1000 dollar woofer but spend 3-4 hundred on power for said woofer people.

I'd rather spend money on speakers than on amplifiers. But, that's just my opinion. Not saying all amplifiers are the same ! black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a sealed box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.

I remember on unique whips some football player had 2 13.5s in a hummer n wanted more bass so they put 4 in. instead of just getting 2 new ones they got 4 new ones and they did the wall socket trick with the old ones. If the people who can afford them can also afford to do this who say's they can't just sell em dirt cheap when they are tired of them. Why do some people act like w7's are the subwoofer of Jesus or something. the only thing that special about it is that its hard to beat it in both spl and sq. Many believe the idmax among others sound better. I remember toxic tuan had 2 13.5's in a hybrid TL/folded horn box and the replaced them with AA avalanches and the ava's where louder in the box designed for the w7's with everything else the same. which is the ultimate proof of one sub bieng louder since they aren't any other variables other than the subs besides maybe temp,elevation and how much charge the batts had at time of testing. A lot of people say they suck at blending into midbass but JL writes it off as "due to the awesome bass output of these woofers multiple component sets are needed. but back to the point i would choose 2 of these My link rather than jl's to be different than the typical JL 1000/1 on w7's route if i wanted something "better" than internet amps 1997 crown vic police interceptor headunit: avic x710bt sub amp: powerbass xta 1500d sub: fi 15" bl fully loaded enclosure: 3.5 cubes @ 33hz firing through rear deck mids/highs: crappy pioneer paper cone 6x9's and stock rears for now mid/high amp:h/u power FTL wiring: knuconceptz 1/0 memphis interterconnects
