Skullz
The devil is in the details, as was said before $40 and a pizza is a good place to start for the basics and a few hours of time but if it turns to more than just that as others have said then time per hour should kick in. audiofanaticz
honestly, I really dont think a shop would charge 300 bucks just in labor for a trunk....maybe a shop that really wanted to rip someone off... Shops have insanely high labor rates when you have them do something that you didnt buy from them. and most people pay it. I can think of 5 shops off the top of my head that charge $40-70 a hour.. Think about it for a second, Not only does the shop have to make money, but the installer has to get paid too. A great installer thats been around for a while and knows his stuff easily can make $18-23 a hour if not more and now if you got 2 installers busting out a big job it just got more expensive for the shop to do that vehicle. The shop is not there to do handouts its there to make money and pay its employees. Edited May 9, 2011 by Audiofanaticz

Do you eat the cost as well? Quote God damn its hot today. My balls are stuck to my leg.
hdorre
Oh, I thought he was one of your buddies that you chilled with. In that case, $35-50 sounds reasonable...considering you know him.
